The Board of Directors of the Hungarian liquor producer Zwack Unicum Plc. has approved the management’s report about the results of the company in the first three quarters of the 2025–2026 business year. As reported by the company on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange, both gross and net sales show a slight increase.

According to the Management Report, total gross sales of the company were HUF 34,473 million – a year-on-year increase of HUF 354 million (1.0%). Net sales (sales excluding excise duty and DRS redemption fee) were HUF 21,237 million, which is 0.9% (HUF 199 million) higher than the base period.

The net sales of domestic product sales were HUF 18,249 million, which is HUF 420 million (2.4%) higher than in the previous financial year. Net sales of own-produced goods in the domestic market had a year-on-year increase of HUF 482 million (3.6%) (from HUF 13,448 million to HUF 13,930 million). Broken down in more detail, sales of premium products increased by 6.3%, while the sales of the quality products came down by 5.0%.

A closer look at the premium category shows that the sale of the Unicum product line grew. Following the gastronomy launch in autumn 2024, Unicum's newest flavor, Unicum Orange Bitter, was launched in retail in April and has contributed significantly to the positive results of the Unicum brand family. In the quality category the sales of the St. Hubertus brand went up while the sale of Kalinka vodka decreased considerably – which led to a downward trend in the overall performance of the category.

Net sales of traded products had a year-on-year decrease of 1.4%. Broken down in some detail, the revenues of the Diageo portfolio went down by 3.3% while the revenues of the other traded products increased by 13.3%. In the latter category the revenues of mineral water and prosecco increased.
