By the end of last year, the recipients of Hankook's 2022 Tire Donation Program were able to collect their donated tires at the Rácalmás site of Hankook Tire Hungary Ltd., the company has announced. In addition to the small non-profit organizations, the National Ambulance Service, the Igazgyöngy [‘True Pearl’] Foundation and the National Directorate General for Disaster Management of the Ministry of the Interior also received donations.
In 2022, Hankook Tire Hungary Ltd. announced its 11th Tire Donation Program, which supports national and/or local organizations that carry out important activities for society. Under the Tire Donation Program, the company also provides assistance to smaller foundations and associations that, due to their size, would otherwise rarely and only with great effort receive support.
Under its 2022 program, Hankook Tire Hungary provided more than 1,500 new tires to around 160 organizations for vehicles essential to their work.
"As a forward-looking company, it is of utmost importance for Hankook to provide premium quality tires to our partners who are doing their work with the same determination as we are," Hankook Tire Hungary Communications Director, Katalin Roy said. "Every year, we are proud to contribute to organizations that do important work for society by doing what we do best: providing tires that make their operations safer and more sustainable."
