Provident and Jókenyér Continue Charity Action in 2025

In the last months of 2024, Provident Financial Ltd. not only distributed fresh, but at the end of the day leftover, baked goods to the young patients of the Gottsegen György National Cardiovascular Institute, with the professional support of the Magic Lantern Foundation, but also a storybook. For Easter, the package also includes seasonal goodies.

In conjunction with the storybook, Provident also invited the children on a creative journey… The final, unfinished story in the book was the subject of a fairy-tale competition, and the winning entry was submitted by 11-year-old Adél.

"The partnership between Provident and Jókenyér, which has now lasted for more than four years, will continue into 2025, and we will continue to work with Ludwig and Mentesi Ltd., the operator of the bakeries, towards the common goal of ensuring that the unsold but high quality products of each shop are placed in the best possible place," says a statement issued by Provident.

"But we also have a long-standing partnership with the Interchurch Aif. Through our Invisibles program, we aim to help those who are unable to save due to their limited circumstances, are excluded from traditional financial services due to their age or financial situation, or have not received the education they need to make responsible financial decisions.
With the support of aid organization professionals, financial literacy training for members of low-educated and low-income groups has been provided in 18 municipalities over the past two years. But we are also working together to ensure the success of our Small Gardens program, which encourages people in disadvantaged communities to start their own small gardens by providing them with the skills they need to maintain a backyard garden. We have helped 130 families in 11 municipalities and have also set up two model community gardens in Vizsoly and Novajidrány. And our Conscious Living competition was launched to help residents of the Aid Agency's Family Transition Homes to achieve a dream, with the aim of helping those residents who have made the greatest progress in managing their money consciously," the announcement concludes.
