Despite the macroeconomic slowdown caused by the epidemic situation, Mateco-Hungary Ltd. that rents lifting equipment and work platforms used in structural architecture is starting to expand its Győr site and capacity.

With a total investment of more than HUF 1 billion, the headquarters of the company, market-leading in its field, in Western Hungary will be suitable for renting, selling and servicing more than 300 passenger and load lifting machines. The development, which will be completed in the first half of 2021, will create more than ten jobs.

More than a thousand square meters - this is how much Mateco-Hungary's headquarters in western Hungary will expand with in the Győr International Industrial Park. The investment was necessitated by the dynamic development of a market-leading company in Hungary dealing with the sale, rental and servicing of self-propelled scaffolding, masts, mounted workbenches and multifunctional loaders used in high-rise construction in Hungary in recent years. The third self-built site of Mateco-Hungary Ltd. will be suitable for renting, servicing and selling more than 300 machines. The facility will house a three-storey office block, a crane workshop with a floor area of more than 1,000 square meters, a machine storage hall, a machine wash and other storage rooms. In addition to the professional service of international partners, the goal is also to operate the complex in an environmentally conscious manner, therefore, the utilization of solar energy is planned.

“It is a great pleasure and success for us to be able and willing to develop even in an uncertain world economic climate. We trust in the opportunities inherent in the Hungarian economy and this sector. Our goal with the investment is to be able to serve our partners even faster and and in a more complex way. The value of trust between partners has increased in recent months, and we want to further strengthen it with a new location and secure capacity. As for the machines, the “starry sky” is “the limit for us,” Csaba Farkas, the founding/managing director of Mateco-Hungary Ltd. said.
