The new site of the Hungarian agricultural power machines sales company Royal Traktor Ltd. was inaugurated this Monday in Pápa, western Hungary.

Minister of Agriculture István Nagy explained at the event that the significance of the investment is indicated by the fact that last year farmers spent the most on the purchase of power machines.

He emphasized that Hungarian enterprises purchased new machines for HUF 180.7 billion in 2019, which is an increase of 3% compared to the previous year. Purchases of power machines accounted for 56% of the total value of agricultural machinery investments, while tractors accounted for 34% of total sales.

Béla Muhari, CEO of Royal Traktor Ltd., said that 20 new jobs will be created at the new site, where plans include the launch of sales training.
