150-year-old boy mummy exhibited in Budapest

The MummyWorld Exhibition at the Hungarian Natural History Museum in Budapest was added the mummy of a Hungarian physician's young son who died in diphtheria 150 years ago. Human mummies from five continents are on display until May 17.

The newly added mummy is that of the young son of Hungarian doctor Lajos Arányi. It is one of the 28 mummies gathered fro exhibiton from many millennia ago or just from the recent past, representing perished cultures or living heritage.

The mummies on display were prepared by various methods or were conserved naturally on different ways.
