The 2nd Budapest International Film Festival (BIFF) will present 36 movies in over 50 screenings at Budapest's Corvin Cinema between October 25 and November 2, the organizers said in a statement this Sunday.
The festival program will include films from other international festivals as well as "experimental works by contemporary makers." The festival's retrospective section will feature films "presenting the many aspects of the home and the controversial desire of coming home," the organizers' statement said.
There is also a new section this year: the international competition program presents young filmmakers from all over the world.
The films will be screened in their original language, with Hungarian or English subtitles.
