In celebration of two centuries of independence, the Colombian Embassy is organizing a host of events across the Hungarian capital. The iconic Chain Bridge will be illuminated with the colors of the Colombian flag from 8 p.m. on August 7 and Colombian band Puerto Candelaria will take the stage at the Sziget Festival and the Ellátóház concert venue in Budapest’s District 7 on August 7 and 8, respectively. Entry to the latter event is free of charge.
