15-year-old Ábel Százados was given the title 'Youngest Gifted Filmmaker' for his production 'Box' at the World Peace & Tolerance Smartphone Humanitarian Gala Global Short Film Awards, the news portal Szabad Pécs reports.
The award – announced this time online – recognizes excellence in highly creative and imaginative films under 15 minutes long.
The Hungarian youngster was already named as the 'Youngest Gifted Filmmaker' last year when the award ceremony was held in Cannes, France. Then, he was recognized for his cell phone film 'Never' – shot with his brother as the only role player – that calls attention to the problem of suicides.
This time, the 'Box' – starring Ábel's brother and mother – tells a story that might lead to a suicide situation.
