Hungarian movie nominated for Oscar

The Hungarian movie 'On body and soul', directed by Ildikó Enyedi, has been shortlisted to be among the top five productions nominated for Academy Award in the best Foreign Language Film category. This is the tenth Academy Award nomination for Hungary in this category.

The movie is about Endre, the financial director of a slaughterhouse in Budapest, and Mária, the new quality control inspector. Endre is interested in getting to know her better but her icy demeanor makes her difficult to approach even though she shares his feelings. When they learn that they dream the same dreams every night, the couple tentatively embarks on a real-life relationship.
