In order to commemorate the 200th birth anniversary of Hungarian poet János Arany (born March 2, 1817), the National Bank of Hungary issued gold and silver medallions. The presentation too place in the Sándor Palace in the Buda Castle in the presence of Hungarian President János Áder.
