Two open-air cinemas started operation in Budapest this week: Budapest Film entertains people in Hunyadi Square (District VI) and Teleki Square (District VIII) with free screenings; including dramas, comedies, artist and children’s films.
Budapest Film Co. Ltd. launched the outdoor screening series with the purpose of community film watching and the revival of Budapest's cinema culture.
It is the goal of the organizers is also to make the Budapest outdoor film theaters become a kind of umbrella organization over time; in this, a number of partners have already indicated their intention to cooperate, so the number of venues and events will increase from week to week in the near future.
