An occasional All Star bagpipe band performed this Monday at the changing of the guard on the occasion held by the Hungarian-Scottish Society and the Robert Burns International Foundation at the main staircase of the Hungarian Parliament building to mark the 265th anniversary of the birth of Scottish national poet Robert Burns.
The birth anniversary was also celebrated two days before at the 27th Budapest Burns Supper cultural and charity evening in the Hungarian capital presenting a touch of Scottish culture in the Hungarian capital with traditional Scottish cuisine, pipers and drummers flown in from Scotland, the Burns Whisky and Gin Bar and the chance to try Scottish ceilidh dancing with many prizes up for grabs at the auction and raffle.
