The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia held a diplomatic reception in Budapest this Tuesday to celebrate Croatia’s Statehood Day.
Hundreds of people, including members of the diplomatic community in Budapest, those of the Croatian community in Hungary and others, gathered in the Museum of Military History in the Buda Castle in Budapest at the invitation of the Croatian Ambassador to Hungary, Mladen Andrlić and his wife, Sandra Andrlić.
Statehood Day is marked in memory of the constitution of the first democratically elected multi-party Parliament in Croatia on May 30, 1990.
It was on May 30, 1990 that the first modern multi-party Croatian Parliament convened, following the 1990 Croatian parliamentary election.
