The Diplomacy and Trade Business Club ('The Club') held its latest networking event at the Hotel Kempinski Corvinus in Budapest this Thursday, presenting the latest issue of ‘Diplomacy and Trade’ that features a supplement on the Nordic countries.
Dozens of ambassadors, other diplomats and businesspeople gathered in the Hotel Kempinski Corvinus Budapest for the presentation of the January issue of ‘Diplomacy and Trade’ at the session of the Diplomacy and Trade Business Club ('The Club').
Danish Ambassador Mads Sandau-Jensen could not be present due his duties in representing his country that holds the rotating presidency of the European Council. His speech on the EU Presidency agenda of his country was read Diplomacy and Trade publisher Péter Freed.
Representing Scandinavian business, Electrolux Hungary CEO János Takács, the President of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hungary, talked about how important of an investment venue Hungary is for Nordic businesses.
The special guest of the evening was the former president of the Hungarian Supreme Court, Zoltán Lomnici, who spoke about the importance of human dignity in his capacity as President of the Council of Human Dignity.
