“As the term of the current government expires, I will finish my foreign service.” That is what Hungarian Foreign Minister János indicated to the Hungarian news portal [origo] when asked at a conference this Tuesday in Budapest.
The 70-year-old Martonyi explained that, as a member of the Orbán government, he spent a total of eight years in this post. Earlier, he talked about his departure with PM Viktor Orbán face-to-face but in recent days, he did not discussed this issue with the head of the government.
