The Budapest-based EuCham Central and Eastern Europe - in cooperation with Transparency International Hungary - organizes its Business Integrity Forum in the Hungarian capital on March 23 on the importance of compliance and integrity in business.
The forum - free for all accepted applicants - aims to promote networking and the diffusion of ethical business practices. This year, participants will focus on the importance of compliance and integrity to achieve business success as well as whistleblowing issues, along with data protection & compliance.
The event, to be held in English in Budapest's Bank Center, has an impressive list of speakers: Rastislav Káèer, the Ambassador of Slovakia; David Lewis, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Australia; Heinz Wiedner, CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Hungary; Dr. Zsuzsanna Lippai, Legal & Compliance Manager at Mercedes-Benz Hungary; Nicholas Sarvari, Managing partner at CNS Risk and President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce; David Ondráèka, Director of Transparency International Czech Republic; Jimmy Helm, Regional Head of Forensic Service, KPMG and several others.
There will also be a side event (a one-hour 'Integrity Window'), which will offer the opportunity of one-to-one brief advisory comprising experts and enthusiasts in the field. It is to provide attendees with an informal opportunity to share ideas, report confidentially, discuss whistleblowing issues and receive minor consultations.
