The Budapest Business School (BGE) has received HUF 1.329 billion in funding from the Széchenyi Plan Plus Program, for the development of digital tools, among other things.
In a communiqué to the state news agency MTI on Thursday, the university said that the support is used between June this year and April 2026 – with funding from the European Union's Recovery Fund – for digital tools, curriculum and skills development, methodological training, dual degree programs, support for study abroad and the implementation of summer universities, among other things.
They stressed that the investment will contribute to strengthening the performance and international competitiveness of the Hungarian higher education system, to the sustainability of long-term funding and to the modernization of education.
“The service improvements will contribute to further strengthening the institution's international role," the statement said.
