Kindergartens Re-open in the Countryside

At Tuesday’s briefing by the Operational Group, it was emphasized that the threat of an epidemic has not passed. The goal is to gradually restart life according to a strict schedule. However, It is still important to follow general precautions.

From Monday, kindergartens will be open in the countryside, and schools will have a digital work schedule until the end of the school year.

Chief Medical Officer Cecília Müller reported that “the rate [of infection] has reversed, with more people recovering from coronavirus than becoming infected.” She added that “the virus must be eradicated from closed communities, where testing will continue in the second phase; currently, 33 institutes are affected by the epidemic, to varying degrees.”
