The international certification body Green Destinations has signed a cooperation agreement with Innotime Hungary Ltd., making international sustainable tourism certification available in Hungary.
A statement by Innotime Hungary points out that from this fall, they are the Hungarian representation of the Green Destinations international organization, which brings together hundreds of destinations in more than sixty countries, and aims to develop tourism offerings in as many regions of the world as possible, focusing on economic-social-environmental sustainability.
According to the announcement, Innotime Hungary Ltd. has been continuously monitoring changes in demand trends and analyzing international crisis management strategies in recent years, resulting in the elaboration of development principles that focus on sustainability. This effort was recognized by the international certification body Green Destinations when it signed a cooperation agreement with Innotime Hungary Ltd. to represent its sustainable tourism programs in Hungary.
According to the information on the website of Innotime Hungary Ltd., the company was established in 2018 with the mission to develop environmentally, economically and socially sustainable tourism products and to develop programs that help to improve destinations and attractions.
According to publicly available company data, the turnover of Innotime Hungary Ltd. was HUF 138.468 million in 2021, compared to HUF 36.951 million a year earlier. Last year, the company closed with a profit of HUF 64.77 million, and in 2020, it had a profit after tax of HUF 354,000.
