The Planet Budapest 2023 sustainability expo and experience program launches on Wednesday and runs until October 1 at the Hungexpo fair site in Budapest, with free admission to the event, which focuses on food, food safety and waste management.
140 Hungarian companies active in the field of sustainability have been invited to the event.
The Your Planet program next to the expo will offer a unique visual experience. According to the organizers, this element of the event should be conceived as a tour, where visitors can learn about the fragility and complexity of the planet and get an objective view of sustainability at the end of the "tour".
The Heroes of the Future program for schoolchildren promises to be the most exciting. Each stage will last between 75 and 80 minutes and will make children feel like they are playing a video game.
The Planet Budapest expo is part of a trend in the world to learn about and apply sustainability and the techniques to achieve it. The aim of the event is to bring together the most progressive Hungarian companies, businesses and start-ups working in this field, and to show young people "where the world is going" and what innovations exist, thus helping them to choose a career.
