The rich natural treasures of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic are on display until June 12 in a photo exhibition on the ramps leading to Gloriett in Várkert Bazaar, organized to mark Earth Day.
The photo exhibition ‘Natural Treasures of the Visegrád Group’, which gives a taste of the natural beauty of the V4 region, was created on the occasion of the Hungarian Presidency of the Visegrád Group (V4) 2021/2022, the state news agency MTI reports.
At the invitation of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, renowned nature photographers from the V4 countries have undertaken to present the natural values of the region to the public. The ministry asked the Hungarian Association of Nature Photographers (naturArt), to implement the project. The photos were selected by the largest nature photography associations in the Visegrád countries.
“Nature photography is a wonderful mission. To capture the most beautiful moments in nature, the photographer must know all the characteristics of animals, plants and landscapes, their behavior and the changes in light conditions," the President of naturArt and curator of the exhibition, Péter Fáth said.
