The Sirha Budapest International Food and HoReCa Exhibition opened on Tuesday at the Hungexpo congress and exhibition center in the Hungarian capital.
As Hungexpo CEO Gábor Ganczer highlighted in his welcome speech Hungexpo will host the most important players in the gastronomy of Hungary and the region this year, for the sixth time.
He added that on the 30,000 square meters of exhibition space, about 20,000 professional visitors have the opportunity to meet with more than 300 exhibitors from 16 countries between March 5 and 7.
At the opening ceremony, the prizes of the SIRHA Innovation Competition were awarded, in which Hungarian and foreign innovative products and services launched between the two exhibitions competed.
