Over 40 designers presented their collections at the recently held 17th Budapest Central European Fashion Week, attracting 5,500 visitors from 12 countries, organizers told MTI on Wednesday.
The fashion show was organised in cooperation with international partners such as the Czech Fashion Council, the Ljubljana Fashion Week, the Slovak Fashion Council, the Ukrainian Fashion Week, the Belgrade Fashion Week and the Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week, Creative Hungary said in a statement.
Apart from Hungarians, Czech, Slovak, Polish, Slovenian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Armenian and Romanian designers made their debut at the festival, the statement said.
"The Central European region will stay competitive if it builds cooperation and uses shared platforms to enter the international markets. Our task is to build professional and business structures to link players in the region and offer them real export opportunities," the organizers said in their statement.
