FELIX Kitchen&Bar, which opened in the second quarter of 2019 in a building designed by the renowned Hungarian architect Miklós Ybl, has chosen Károly Bosznai as its new Sales Director.
Originally a pump house, the establishment has grown into a full-fledged contemporary art space with a focus on high quality gastronomy, bar culture, quality ingredients and a passion for art. Important moments in its positioning include a two-time Wine Spectator magazine Award of Excellence, which has placed it on a prestigious list of the world's best wine restaurants, and recognition by the Michelin Plate in 2021.
During his college years, Károly Bosznai gained experience abroad in various areas of tourism before returning home to work in sales and marketing for several travel agencies. In Hungary, he is credited with the launch of several units of the Symbol Budapest gastronomic complex and the creation and organization of T-DAY, the main networking event for the tourism industry, which has since become a regular annual networking forum for the tourism profession.
He also spent six years as the Event Director of the Buddha-Bar Hotel Budapest, where he and his colleagues also implemented a number of internationally memorable events and activities. Among these, the after-parties during the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix weekend, which he has been organizing ever since, are among the highlights.
After two and a half years as Director of Sales and Sponsorship at Hungexpo, he returned to the world of catering and event management at the end of 2021 as Sales Director of FELIX Kitchen&Bar.
"It is an honor to join such an internationally renowned team. Our goal is to introduce more and more people and segments to the FELIX way of life – the diversity of the restaurant's historic building and the high gastronomic standards it offers – and to provide our guests with the highest level of service," Károly Bosznai said.
