The 115-room, four-star Hampton by Hilton Hotel, the city's first international hotel, has been inaugurated in Marosvásárhely (Târgu Mures, Romania), co-financed by the Hungarian government.
The investment in the Transylvanian city, initiated and carried out by the Multinvest Group and operated by the long-established Hilton Group, was 35% financed by the Pro Economica Foundation, which is responsible for the Hungarian government's economic development program in Transylvania.
Construction started in 2020. The hotel concept and the selection of the appropriate operator and brand for Multinvest was carried out by KRAFT & Associates - Turisztikai Fejlesztők Ltd.
This development marks another milestone in the development of the strategic center of Marosvásárhely and the economic life of the region, according to a statement issued by the investor.
