With effect from 15 April, the Board of Trustees of the Central European Press and Media Foundation (Kesma) has appointed László Szabó as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mediaworks Hungary Company Ltd. according to Kesma's website.
In recent years, László Szabó has worked as Hungary's ambassador to Washington, and for almost 20 years before taking up a diplomatic career, he held leading positions at international pharmaceutical companies both at home and abroad. From 2010, he managed TEVA Magyarország Co. Ltd. as CEO. In 2014, he was appointed Secretary of State and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, followed by his work as Ambassador to the United States capital from 2017.
