In accordance with its portfolio clean-up strategy, the Hungarian National Asset Management Inc. (MNV) will continue to put on the market real estate that is not necessary for the performance of state tasks.
According to MNV's statement, after the situation caused by the pandemic has eased, it will be possible to continue the sales campaign, started last year, aimed at cleaning up the portfolio, in line with the resumption of the economy.
MNV also uses the customary individual real estate sales and the package-like sales introduced last year as a new method on its online auction platform. In the coming weeks, the company will enrich its offer with 14 different themed real estate packages and more than 30 individual items.
Of the high-value properties to be sold independently, the national trustee cited two rural properties as examples. The 63,000-square-meter Orfű Aquapark on the western shore of Lake Pécs, offering special water services, will be available for auction from Monday. The AB EXPO hall, which is located in almost 22,000 square meters next to Békéscsaba Airport, SE Hungary, and functions as an exhibition and event center and is in good technical condition, will be available in the EAR auction system from August 10.
From 10 August, MNV is expected to make another attempt to utilize the palace building on Andrássy út, which previously functioned as the headquarters of MÁV Hungarian Railways, with a total area of almost 20,000 square meters.
