A conference on the challenges, trends and current changes facing the automotive industry and trade in Hungary was held in Budapest, with the participation of top executives from the Hungarian automotive industry and automotive trade, with the title 'Are we running into the wall or can we still swerve the steering wheel?'
The Budapest Automotive Summit can serve as a compass for the industry at a time when there are huge shifts in the sector, overturning the dogmas that have guided the automotive industry and the car trade for decades. Such phenomena include the weakening of the German automotive industry, the burst of the Chinese automotive industry in Europe, or the European Union's regulation on the ban of internal combustion engines in 2035 and its anomalies, Zsolt Bujáki, founder and chief organizer of the Budapest Automotive Summit, pointed out in a statement sent to MTI.
He stressed that now the position of almost all industry players, importers, dealers and fleet managers is uncertain for the future, and the roles and tasks of online and agency sales are unclear. Therefore, the event aims to be an authoritative professional forum for the car sales community, providing actionable information and leadership inspiration for professionals who see the future of their business in car sales.
Speakers at the Forum included national industry experts, leading market players and opinion leaders. Market representatives held round-table discussions to analyze the state of the car trade in Hungary, presenting the latest trends and changes in used car sales.
