A Musical Changing of the Guard with the Scottish Bagpipe Band took place in front of the Hungarian Parliament building this Monday.
The event with the Parliamentary Guard, on the occasion of the 264th anniversary of the birth of the Scottish national poet Robert Burns, was organized by the Hungarian-Scottish Society and the Robert Burns International Foundation at the main staircase of the Hungarian Parliament building.
The pipers were flown in from Scotland to take part in the 26th Budapest Burns Supper that took place at the week-end.
Robert Burns was born on January 25, 1759 and died on July 21, 1796 at the age of 37.
