150 patients have died in the past three days, bringing the official number of deaths linked to the new coronavirus infection to 44,436, according to the government's related website.
As of Sunday, 5,852 new cases of coronavirus infection had been confirmed in Hungary, bringing the total number of identified infected people to 1,805,898 since the outbreak began.
The number of cured patients is now 1,632,325, while the number of active infected persons has decreased to 129,137.
2,745 patients with coronavirus are in hospital, 117 of them are on ventilators.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,397,455, of whom 6,175,674 are on their second vaccination, 3,821,429 on their third and 225,507 on their fourth.
