The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in another 1,894 Hungarian citizens, increasing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 308,262.
154 patients died, so the number of deaths increased to 8,616, writes the related government site koronavirus.gov.hu.
According to the report, the number of people recovered is also constantly growing and it is currently at 114,631. The number of active infected people is 185,015. The website finds it important to point out that 18% of the active infected, 20% of the dead and 21% of the recovered are from Budapest. (The capital accounts for about 19% of the country's population).
6,727 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 495 of whom are on ventilators.
