COVID-19: 31 New Deaths, More Infected in Hungary

31 patients infected with the new coronavirus died over the weekend, nearly 1,500 new infections were registered, 560 patients were hospitalised and 87 were put on ventilators.

In the past three days, 1,492 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Hungary, bringing the total number of identified infected people to 824,876 since the start of the outbreak, according to the government's information page.

31 patients have died, bringing the total number of people who have died in the epidemic to 3,230.

The number of cured cases now stands at 786,737 and the number of active infected is 7,909.

560 patients with coronavirus are in hospital, 87 of whom are on ventilators.

The total number of vaccinated is 5,895,282, of whom 5,657,967 have already received their second vaccination and 804 000 have already received their third vaccination.
