51, mostly elderly, chronic patients died last week, bringing the official number of deaths to a total of 48,546 in this country, the Coronavirus Press Center has announced.
The number of those who have recovered from the disease in Hungary has decreased to 2,127,121, and that of the active infected has decreased to 13,070. Currently, 368 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, nine of them are on ventilators, according to aggregated data.
In the announcement, the press center wrote that 2,921 new infections were confirmed in the previous week, increasing the number of identified infections to 2,188,737 since the start of the epidemic.
The number of people vaccinated against the new coronavirus in Hungary is 6,420,824, of which 6,207,270 received the second, 3,903,721 the third, and 413,792 already the fourth vaccination.
