Another 118 patients died as a result of the new coronavirus infection in Hungary in the past 24 hours, bringing the official number of deaths to 11,066.
By Thursday, the new coronavirus infection was detected in 1,926 more people, increasing the number of identified infections in Hungary to 347,636.
4,689 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 344 of whom are on ventilators. The number of recovered people is also constantly growing, standing currently at 220,304, while the number of active infected people has decreased to 116,266, according to the relevant government website koronavirus.gov.hu on Thursday.
