195 Hungarians fell victim to the new coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours – the highest number for a single day in this pandemic.
The previous sad record occurred on December 5, 2020, with 193 victims of the new coronavirus. Altogether, 17,421 people have died from the complications of the virus in this country.
There are 10,284 people treated in hospital, 440 more than on the previous day. This is also the worst figure since the epidemic began. The number of those on ventilator is 1,128 – 61 more than a day earlier.
