COVID-19: More People Hospitalized in Hungary

The number of people hospitalized with the coronavirus has doubled in the past week. The number of infections also increased last week, with 1,600 more (4,663) infections than the previous week and more than double the number two weeks ago.

In the past week, 14 patients have died. This compares to 21 in the previous week.

The number of active infected persons increased to 11,195 compared to 9,548 a week earlier.

There are currently 488 patients with coronavirus in hospital, 10 of whom are on ventilators.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,411,997, of whom 6,199,038 are on their second, 3,884,792 on their third and 305,920 on their fourth vaccination.
