The number of coronavirus deaths in Hungary increased by 170 in the past 24 hours 170, increasing the official total number of those who have died from the complications of the virus to 22,098.
The number of new infections registered is 1,890 - 1.984 less compared to the previous day.
There are 12,007 people treated in hospital, 201 more than in the previous day. Their numbers have risen again for the third day in a row since last week’s decline, but are still more than 500 people short of where the number started falling at the end of March. Of these, 1,440 are on ventilators, 11 fewer than a day earlier.
