By Thursday, another 1,652 Hungarian citizens contracted the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 371,988.
93, mostly old and chronic patients died in the past 24 hours, thus, the number of deaths rose to 12,832. The number of recovered people is also constantly increasing, stnading currently at 274,308, while the number of active infected people has decreased to 84,848.
A total of 3,648 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 289 of whom are on ventilators. So far, 249,687 people have been vaccinated, 84,452 of them have already received their second jab.
