Over nine thousand new coronavirus infections were registered in the past 24 hours in Hungary, with 8,718 people treated in hospital with COVID-19 in the country.
The numbers published by the related government website are as follows:
Number of new infections: 9011 (+699 compared to the previous day )
Number of new daily deaths: 130 (-42 compared to the previous day )
Number of people requiring hospital care: 8,718 (+389 compared to the previous day )
Number of patients on ventilators: 949 (+38 compared to the previous day)
Number of first vaccinations: 1,229,827 (+80,270 compared to the previous day)
Of which number vaccinated with the second dose: 351 694 (+24 266 compared to the previous day)
According to the government website on the coronavirus, the number of people cured has risen to 346,904 and the number of active infections has risen to 134,652 in the past 24 hours.
