The number of confirmed people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 16,920, including 809 new infections. As six chronic patients died, the number of deceased is now 675.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 11,863. There are currently 386 patients hospitalized with the coronavirus, 30 of whom are on ventilators. There are 28,527 people in compulsory home quarantine with 4,382 recovered.
The government website reminds that it is still vital for everyone to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters and cover their face in shops and on public transport within Hungary.
