COVID-19 Week-End: 53 Deaths and 3,325 New Infections

Since Friday last week, 3,325 new cases of the new coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Hungary, with 53 fatalities over this period, according to the related government website koronavirus.gov.hu.

The new cases bring the total number of identified infections to 1,894,278 since the beginning of the outbreak, while with the 53 patients, most of them elderly and chronic, who died in the past three days, the official total number of deaths comes to 46,101.

The number of cured persons has fallen to 1,788,191, and the number of actively infected persons to 59,986.

1,460 patients with coronavirus are in hospital, 40 of whom are on ventilators.

The number of vaccinated is 6,406,103, of which 6,192,048 are on their second, 3,861,218 on their third and 284,966 on their fourth vaccination.
