Daily COVID-19 Deaths Decreasing for 6th Day in a Row

The number of deaths registered in one day and the number of active patients also decreased compared to the previous day.

Even together with 2610 new infections, the number of active infections in Hungary has decreased by 954 in the last 24 hours. Their number is currently 18,1342.

In the epidemic, 104 people lost their lives in the previous day - the daily mortality rate was higher than this in every day this December. So far, a total of 8,834 people infected with the coronavirus have died in Hungary, according to the related government website. The number of those who recovered increased by 3,460 in one day.
The number of infections registered in Hungary so far is 314,164.
Compared to Thursday, 376 fewer, 6,006 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 489 of whom are on ventilators. 11.8% of the 22,154 tests performed in one day were positive.

The previous day, 113 people died in connection with the epidemic, which was also a decrease from the previous days ’deaths. There has also been a decrease in the number of active infected people and those on the ventilator, indicating a slow relief of the epidemic.
