The review of state-owned companies overseen by the Ministry of Economy and Energy is continuing, the ministry's head, István Kapitány, said in a social post on Saturday.

The minister wrote that following the Eximbank review, "we are examining contracts and past decisions one by one, thoroughly, and in every case based on documents." He said order would be restored, as the ministry had been mandated to do so, and that any findings would be forwarded to the relevant authorities.

"From then on, it is their task to take the necessary steps," he said.

In recent weeks, the ministry has held talks with professional organisations, trade unions, entrepreneurs and key players in the Hungarian economy, István Kapitány added.

At the ministry's weekly meeting, feedback was summarized and many valuable suggestions made, he said, adding that these would be incorporated into their decisions. The direction remained clear: transparent operations, accountable decisions, and continuous dialogue, he declared.
