The production unit of SK-Precíziós (‘Precision’) Ltd., formerly known as Schüssler Hungária Ltd., will be built with an investment of some EUR 6 million in Sárospatak to manufacture state-of-the-art CNC tooling systems. As a result, 29 new jobs are expected to be created. The German owners thus set up their first manufacturing plant outside Germany that is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2023.
SK Business Development AG, a German family business, has been producing and selling high quality CNC tooling systems for five decades. Its quality solutions are used in automotive, aviation, medical technology, electronics and manufacturing of tools.
The corporate group has commercial offices in Spain, India, China and Hongkong; however, production has been restricted to Germany only.
According to the CEO of SK-Precíziós Ltd., Klaus Karl Schüssler, “the Hungarian company is an important element of our growth strategy, a milestone in the establishment of our first production unit outside Germany. Due to its central location, it is a very good basis for realizing our further investment ideas in the next period.”
By installing 29 state-of-the-art CNC machining centers and heat treatment furnace technology the company will be able to produce over 200,000 pieces of tooling systems per year. The Hungarian production fully targets export markets, the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency reports.
