Giraffe baby born in Budapest Zoo

Another giraffe baby – the second this year – was born in the Budapest Zoo by Wednesday morning. It was in the morning that the zoo staff got to see the baby that whose sex is not yet known and thus, no has been given to it, yet.

The mother, 17-year-old Santana, has raised several kids in the past. She and the baby are well. This is the giraffe calf born in the Budapest Too since its foundation in 1868, and the second this year as another one was born in May.
