Highest Daily Number of COVID-19 Fatalities in Hungary

121 Hungarians infected with the new coronavirus died in the past 24 hours – the highest number in one day as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in this country.

The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in another 4,397 new Hungarian citizens, increasing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 170,298, the related government website koronavirus.gov.hu reported. 121 patients died, bringing the number of deaths to 3,689, and 40,820 have already recovered.

The number of active infections is 125,789. 7,358 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, 599 of whom are on ventilators.
