Prime Minister Péter Magyar met in his office with Toshihiro Suzuki, the chairman-CEO of Suzuki Motor Corporation, on Thursday.

Suzuki has been one of the most reliable foreign investors in Hungary since 1991, the prime minister said on social media.

Péter Magyar added that he discussed further developments and investments with Toshihiro Suzuki, as well as the challenges facing the global automotive industry and the transition to electric vehicles.

Toshihiro Suzuki has been the Chairman and CEO of Suzuki Motor Corporation since June 2021. It was then that the leadership of the company was handed to him by his father, Osamu Suzuki, who is credited with building the company into its current status.

Suzuki Motor Corporation manufactures automobiles, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), outboard marine engines, wheelchairs and a variety of other small internal combustion engines.
