Thousands of cyclists gathered to ride through downtown Budapest this Saturday afternoon at the intitiative of the Hungarian Cyclists' Club, calling for the popularization of cycling traffic in cities and further improvements for bicycle riders.
The main goal of its activities of the Hungarian Cyclists' Club (HCC) is to popularise cycling as a mode of transport, raise its significance, and create its culture.
To achieve this goal, Hungarian Cyclists’ Club is in strategic and professional partnerships with cities countrywide, Budapest being the first and largest partner. As part of this partnership, HCC has coauthored the Cycling Budapest Strategy, as well as consulted the market study conducted in the city.
