Provident's parent company, the International Personal Finance (IPF) Group, received a great honor: Gergely Mikola, the company's Director of Global Corporate Relations, won the International Leadership Grand Prix award at the 2025 European Milestone Awards gala held in London.
The prestigious award was presented to Gergely Mikola by Ferenc Kumin, Hungarian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, and Melanie Seymour, Global Vice President of BlackRock. The award is one of the most prestigious professional awards in the international business sector, recognizing outstanding leadership performance and impact, according to a press statement by Provident.
In awarding the prize, the jury primarily evaluated Gergely Mikola's international leadership activities, which connect the IPF group's countries from Mexico to Australia and from the Baltics to Central Europe. His role in the industry was also recognized: he previously worked as head of corporate relations for Central and Southern Europe, participated in the work of several professional associations as a founder and leader, and mentored other European British chambers as president of the British Chamber of Commerce.
"This recognition means a lot to me, as it shows that there are truly no limits to the possibilities when you start out from a small country like Hungary. During my career, I have had the opportunity to work with fantastic people on several continents and in many cultures, and I have learned a great deal from each collaboration. I am confident that this award will not only give me new impetus, but will also encourage others to believe in themselves, be proud of the country they come from, and show the world what they are capable of," Gergely Mikola said after receiving the award.
The international award not only recognizes Gergely Mikola's outstanding professional work and global impact, but also proves that it is possible to achieve world-class results even when starting out in Hungary. Provident and the IPF Group are particularly proud that the leadership excellence of a Hungarian professional has been recognized at a prestigious international forum.
